About Me

I have been dedicated to practising a spiritual path for more than half my life. This I have tried to do wholeheartedly as I believe that the purpose of human life is to change and grow as true individuals. My more basic interests range from photography, music and the arts,to walking in the mountains in Spain. I am a lover of the outdoors and have loved living in rural Spain for the past five years.

I am a Spanish speaker and find this culture stimulating and interesting. I also enjoy reading Spanish and English literature. Somehow I feel a deep connection with this land and country so I consider it 'home'.

For me the most important things is to understand our potential that we have locked in side. I feel passionatly that the world has to change, but at the same time understand that we can only change as individuals. This is why I do the work that I do.

I've been involved over the years with attempts to reinvigorate the Buddhist teachings in India (the land of it's birth) and to help the ex-untouchable communities their re-discover their spiritual heritage.

Recently, along with a colleague I set up 'Bodhiyoga teacher training'. Our school is devoted to producing teachers of a high standard that wish to change themselves and then the world. We are very keen for people that have an interest in meditation practise and Buddhism to do our courses.

Author Biography

I was born in London in 1970. Somewhere between becoming an adult and my early twenties I developed a taste for Eastern philosophies and religion. Eventually I came across Buddhism and meditation. At the same time I developed a love of Hatha yoga and eventually became a teacher of both yoga and Buddhism with an emphasis on meditation. For the past five years I have lived a life of intense retreat practise, in Spain where I now live.

I was ordained a Buddhist in 2004 and now run a yoga teachers program based upon Buddhist principles of awareness and inquiry, with my colleague Sudaka in Spain.
